Hi there!

My name is Patrick Neyland (Knee-land). I am currently a financial economics master's student at Utah State University and a Research Fellow at the Center for Growth and Opportunity (CGO). I am currently applying to Accounting PhD programs with a focus on empirical archival tax research.

With the CGO, I have contributed to the development of an open-source tax called FiscalSim. Getting to work on this project has defined my interest in and passion for tax research.

Having known that I wanted to pursue a PhD in accounting since the sophomore year of my undergraduate degree in accounting, I have designed the projects and coursework for my master's degree to prepare me for top PhD programs.

Emerson in the world of taxation, mathematics, technical research skills, and accounting research have all been a priority during my preparation for a PhD in Accounting.

Thank you for visiting my website. Reach out if you have any questions or would like to connect. patrick.neyland75@gmail.com
